| There
are times in everyone’s life when personal problems and challenges
may interfere with the enjoyment of life. Our goal at Comprehensive Mental
Health Services, Inc., (CMHS) is to provide assistance to individuals and
families who experience emotional and coping problems (inability to handle
everyday situations) and those who have serious and persistent mental illness.
CMHS offers a wide range of assistance. While early attention and intervention
often prevent small problems from becoming big ones, CMHS has extensive
services for seriously mentally ill adults, for severely emotionally disturbed
children and for addiction problems.
Through CMHS’s various programs, the eastern Jackson County area is served by mental health professionals which include psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, case managers and nurses. All share in the belief that a positive mentally healthy well being is an important component of a healthy and well-balanced life. |
