“Linus
Project” – make quilts for adults & children in programs, to be presented
as a “welcome” gift on arrival at the center.
“Birthday Party” for the child care program (staff can provide a wish list). Guests
bring a gift for the
Pillow Toss Party – could involve a local radio
station (DJs wear PJs) and have a large bin/crib for people to drive by and
toss in a new pillow, pillowcases or bedding for adults and/or children
Rock-a-thon – Sponsors donate money for an hour of
rocking
Candy sale – with proceeds to a specific CMHS/Ren West
project
Woodworking Projects
Classroom mailboxes for parent notes
Storage units for coats and backpacks
Storage shed for outdoor equipment, bikes, etc.
